Good Morning Calontir,

We have updated CALON to reflect recent changes to the structure of armored combat authorizations. Fighters who were previously authorized in two-handed sword or polearm should have those authorizations replaced by an authorization in two-handed weapon. Two-weapon authorizations have been removed. 

Authorized fighters should login and print a new authorization card – especially if you are attending Pennsic.

I will be taking on the position of deputy to the Kingdom Seneschal for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. My current task is to write, with diverse assistance, a DEIB policy draft for Calontir and to formulate the parameters for the DEIB Office for the future. The particular form this takes will be subject to the deliberations of the Witan. I do welcome all input and ideas, which can be sent to [email protected] . [As before, specific interpersonal issues should continue to be brought to the Advocates ([email protected]).] I hope to work towards promoting awareness and increasing inclusion and equity in all our activities.

Greetings Calontir,

Now that we have worked through many of the bugs in the CALON system, we are preparing to open registration to the entire kingdom, not just authorized fighters. We will be launching a number of tools for our membership including a new award recommendation system, ways for you to edit some of your own OP information, officer reporting, and possibly even a new RUSH registration system.

Note, if you already have access to CALON for getting your authorization card, you do not need to fill out this form.

We will create accounts in batches over the next few months as we launch our membership tools.
